Yard for yard, the Northwest's toughest foot race. Trudge yourself through 250 yards of Samish Bay mud. Shoes required. Clean-up hoses provided. Change of clothes recommended.

Mud Run Registration Information

 

250 yard Mud Run (13 and up) limited to first 200 entrants. Race start time is 12:07PM. Onsite Day of Race registration closes at 11:45AM and is on a space available basis. 
 

100 yard Kid's (8-12) Mud Run limited to 100 entrants.

Race start time is 11:47AM. Onsite Day of Race registration closes at 11:30AM and is on a space available basis. 

 

All event parking is free and off-site by shuttle. Follow the Bivalve Bash parking going north and south on Chuckanut Drive. Please allow up to 90 minutes to park your car at offsite parking, take the shuttle bus to event site (departs every 15-20 minutes) and race check-in.

Race Information

Medical:
Skagit County Medic One will have an ambulance and medical personnel on site. Running in mud is extremely strenuous requiring top fitness. All runners must sign waiver and release.

Trophies and Prizes:
All finishers receive a gold oyster medallion. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female runners of the Adult Mud Run and to the three top male and female runners of the kid's race. Prizes and gift certificates for the Mud Run are sponsored by Super Jock ’n Jill of Seattle.

Bivalve Bash Activities:
($5 Entry. Mud Runners, 6-and-under kids free.) 
Activities for all ages. Oyster shell sculptures, Mud Run, Kid’s Beach, great food, beer garden, local bands, dancing, contests and games. Scenic beach setting. Invite family and friends to support clean water and join the fun.
 


The Samish Bay Bivalve Bash benefits the community clean water education programs of the Skagit Conservation Education Alliance (SCEA)

 

My shoes are old, my will is strong.  My duct tape is the best.

My shirt is set, my mind is too,  I'll get a good night's rest.

 

And when the starting gun is fired, and all us runners go.

I'll do my darndest to keep up and not be very slow.

 

Then, when the race is over and the mud is washed away.

I'll cheer the winners and console the rest and call it a dang good day!!!!.
